- SYNOPSIS -
In feudal Japan, a group of travelers are stranded by the swollen river at a small country inn. Among them are Ihei Misawa, a ronin, a masterless samurai who excels in the art of combat, and his wife Tayo, who lives only for the love of her husband. After the rain, Ihei decides to confront the fencing masters of the region's dojos in exchange for money and food. Caught under the control of Lord Shigeaki, he becomes the weapon master of his fiefdom, but the rivalries are numerous.
