Christopher BUCHHOLZ

Christopher Buchholz was born in Los Angeles in 1962. He is the son of Horst Buchholz and his wife Myriam Bru. Following his father's footsteps, Christopher became an actor. His first main role was that of the assassin Ali Agca in Giuseppe Fina's movie 'The Plot to Kill the Pope', produced in 1986. For this performance Christopher was awarded best new actor at the Florence Film Festival. In Germany he became known through his participation in the serial 'Das Erbe der Guldenburgs'. Fluent in English, French, Italian, and German, he mostly works in France, Italy, and the USA. Christopher's latest production in German is 'Heller als der Mond', produced in Austria and directed by Virgil Widrich in 1999.
